Reports From My Nanocosm

Today was my last day with Yahoo!. To all my coworkers, it has been a joy working with everyone over the past ten years. Thank you for making this such a wonderful time. The world is small so hopefully we�ll have the chance to work together again some day. Feel free to drop me a line.

It feels a bit strange. I already thought about three things I’d forgotten to do before the weekend. But they aren’t my responsibility and now someone else from my team will need to finish those things for me. I’m tempted to send an email about it, but I need to detach. I didn’t leave the office until past 7:30pm,  after cleaning out my cube, packing my cube toys away, feeling a bit too nostalgic, and shredding the old files which I should have shreaded eons ago.

In my former cube, for the taking, I left several begonia plants in cups of water. They all have roots and are growing new leaves. If you’re in the office and want one, go pick it up and put it in dirt.They’re easy to care for and are generally forgiving. My cube was in building F, along the windows near the showers.
